Great post on how to publish video on your website, 2009-style. I reckon the <video> tag is here to stay, but I don’t really like the implementation outlined in that post. I would much prefer using something like swfobject to render all that code.

Time for a small shameless plug. Nico Schilders, the artist who designed our wedding rings, has a blog. There’s not “much 2 c” yet (har har) but he does showcase some beautiful lighting fixtures. Looks like we will be heading south again, soon.
There’s now an official way to denounce the ‘canonical’ URL of a website. Say that my website would listen to ‘spacebabies.nl’ as wel as ‘www.spacebabies.nl’, the new canonical link tag will tell Google which one is the ‘real’ one. Great for SEO purposes.
